KHCN Story

Our story begins in the beginning of 2020 with handful of faithful disciples of Jesus. COVID-19, political tension, and financial challenges ruled the news. An environment of uncertainty loomed over everyone’s lives and the life of the church was no exception. Navigating that time was challenging for all of us. Many churches lamented the changing of past traditions and quickly became “stuck” as they waited for a return to “normal”.

“Now what is possible?”. This questioned burned in the hearts of a few individuals who desired to see this time as an opportunity instead of a setback. As they prayed and gathered, God began stirring a new vision within their hearts. The simple prayer gathering and bible study soon gave birth to the first KHCN location. There are multiple locations that meet weekly across the greater Knoxville Area.

KCHN connects these house churches together to resource with bible studies, devotionals, missional opportunities, evangelism, discipleship, and training. KHCN’s vision is to equip and empower disciples of Jesus to make disciples right where they are.

At KHCN we believe that everyone has a story to share and that story has the potential to shape lives. In particular, our stories of faith in Jesus can bring hope and transformation to others.

KHCN equips our leaders to share their story, the story of God, and to create safe spaces for others to share their own story.
